The Ukraine Facility Platform develops a strategic vision for integrating Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex into the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy, contributing to the recovery and transformation of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

The Platform focuses on identifying reform directions and priorities without which EU integration will remain fragmented.

We promote the following ideas:

  • aligning Ukraine’s agricultural policy with the logic of the EU Common Agricultural Policy;
  • treating climate risks as a fundamental condition for shaping agricultural policy;
  • strengthening the institutional capacity of the agro-industrial sector and promoting effective implementation of European rules;
  • integrating Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex into EU policy that strengthens rural communities, supports cooperation, and creates a level playing field for small and medium-sized producers;
  • creating conditions to move from temporary trade compromises to long-term, systemic solutions in EU–Ukraine relations.
Our focus is to integrate Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex into the European agricultural space as an important element of food security, climate resilience, and green transformation.
